The Most Fabulous Pools in Toronto

With the recent humidity levels, Toronto has felt rather tropical and has inspired many to seek respite by the pool. Some are fortunate enough to have a little oasis of their own in their backyard, while others have to get a little creative. With social gathering restrictions finally being lifted, there are now several venues reopening where you can spend an afternoon sipping cocktails and floating on inflatable swans. Here are some of the most fabulous pools in Toronto at the moment…

Lavelle rooftop pool

Lavelle

Sitting 16 stories above the city, Lavelle features stunning views and unobstructed sun. This King St. West venu offers the opportunity to take your day into night with a leisurely swim in one of three pools, as well as drinks and cocktails from their Brazilian and Japanese-inspired menu.

Summer House

Down by the Lake, Hotel X brings you Summer House! This expansive, three-story restaurant and patio is the perfect playground for adults with incredible views of the waterfront over 75,000 square feet. With a carefully curated tropical-inspired menu, Summer House is the perfect place for a staycation.

Kost

On Blue Jays Way, sitting even higher than Lavelle at a dizzying 44 stories, you will find Kost. On top of the Bisha Hotel, Kost provides a rooftop experience that is hard to forget. Inspired by the Baja Peninsula, Kost’s menu takes you on a trip to the California coastline, seven days a week, from breakfast to dinner.

If trendy party pools aren’t really your scene however, perhaps it’s time to plan ahead and think about where you might be living in summers to come? If a house with a pool isn’t in the cards, there are a surprising number of condo buildings with breathtaking rooftop amenities! Here are some of our favourites…

3018 Yonge St. at Lawrence Park

Just across the way from Lawrence TTC stop and Lawrence Park itself, you will find an incredibly well-maintained building at 3018 Yonge St. Not only does the building feature a beautiful lobby, party rooms and well thought out suites, they also happen to have stunning rooftop amenities. On the inside, you’ll find a fully-equipped gym and on the outside, a gorgeous pool with a view of the park and downtown core to the South.

Pure Spirit

Further South in the Distillery District, the Pure Spirit building consists of both condo and loft-style units ranging from one bedrooms to two bedrooms plus den. One of the greatest attractions though, is the fabulous rooftop amenities which include a pool, sundeck and hot tub.

fashion house condo pool

Fashion House Condos

In the Fashion District, you will find the aptly named Fashion House Condos at 560 King Street West and 461 Adelaide St. West. These residences are split into two buildings (hence the two addresses) with a courtyard in-between. On their rooftop, you will find a spacious patio complete with glamorous loungers and a sleek infinity pool with a direct view of the CN Tower.
